Key Product Features and Benefits

Neoz V4 Cordless Lamps are the world’s first rechargeable Li-ion powered Table Lamps.

The Neoz V4 Cordless Lamp system is a design evolution of the successful V3 Cordless range currently exported to over 50 countries and used in the world’s best hotels and restaurants.
The design of the new V4 system is based on this marketplace experience and aims to address specific requirements of our clients. Broadly we have designed an intelligent Cordless Lamp range which will be equally appropriate as a fine dining restaurant table luminaire or bedside table lamp at home.

The V4 system comprises a range of Cordless lamps, base stations, power supplies, trays and trolleys designed to be modular, simple to assemble and use by manufacturers, distributors and end users worldwide.

Each Cordless Lamp has a Lamp control unit containing a halogen light source for excellent colour rendering and 20 times the brightness of a candle, Li-ion battery pack for high energy density, control electronics and user interaction display. This assembly quickly and simply locates into a range of new and existing diffuser bodies providing a choice of light distribution/diffusion and aesthetic options.

The Lamp Control unit has a unique method to retain the Li-ion battery pack while providing an adjustable stem height for the halogen light source (patent pending). A choice of Li-ion battery pack capacities – 2.2Ah or 4.4Ah is optional providing functional and pricing benefits as well as a more compact form. Upon connection the battery pack capacity is detected by the Lamp controller and automatically selects default control conditions to suit. The user can switch to three light levels and also access special options modes such as ‘candle’ and ‘fade’ via a membrane covered tact switch on the lamp base.

The Cordless lamp is recharged by simply placing on the Base station. As the Cordless Lamp has two main user areas commercial/multiple lamp users and domestic/single Lamp users we designed the lamp to operate from two different electronic power supplies which either power one unit or five units.

The Lamp detects the power supply type and automatically selects default functions to suit. For commercial/multiple lamp users when the Lamp is placed on the base station the Lamp is turned off, charging begins and the base station indicates charge status. For the domestic/ single users when the lamp is placed on the base station the lamp retains its present operating status and can also simultaneously light and charge. The lamp will also function normally on the base station without a battery pack. By rotating the lamp on the Base station the lamp can be switched on/off and dimmed (patent pending).

Multiple lamp users can choose from a variety of trays and trolley types and sizes to accommodate base stations distributors and power supplies. The end user has only one electrical plug to mains.

All components are high quality, recyclable and serviceable with the Li-ion batteries providing 11 hours of light at full intensity, 26 hours at lower dim level and more than 1000 full charge /discharge cycles.
