Employs advanced noise reduction techniques creating the quietest Australian heat pump water heater. A clear design focus is “plug and play” functionality aimed at installer. Product flexibility is enhanced by an onboard computer that allows the heat pump to adapt to its environment & is easily upgradeable. Design intent was the development of a design platform that "evolves" its operational characteristics to suit environmental and regulatory needs. Key Product Features and Benefits Airoheat was designed by Australians, in Australia and to cope with the harshest of Australian conditions.Innovation: As a product that holds multiple patents, Airoheat is a new and innovative design that achieves effective energy capture, energy enhancement and energy transfer. Airoheat's capabilities are continually managed by the patented Dux Hotlogic controller, which is the intelligence within the system. Visual Appeal: Improvements in water heating technology have lead to traditional storage water heaters being "adapted" to provide more sustainable hot water solutions by si mply "adding new components". The end result are heaters which look "unfinished". The design criteria for Airoheat included the products overall look & feel. The louvre on top of the unit provides the airflow charactersitics required for effective energy transfer. All components were designed to fit within this area. The result is a stylised design finished in an accent colour, achieveing its aesthetic design objective. Functionality: Traditionally, homeowners just wanted hot water when they turn on the tap. Now these expectations have expanded to a requirement for greener, cheaper solutions with no effect on lifestyle. Airoheat exceeds these expectations by creating the same amount of hot water using a quarter of the energy required compared to a traditional electric storage water heater. Energy reduction equates to lower costs and lower greenhouse gas emmissions. Being the quietest heat pump water heater on the market, there is no lifestyle compromise either. Quality & Manufacture: Manufactured in Australia, Airoheat was designed for outdoor installation, so components and materials selected needed to last in the harshest Australian environment. Components such as colourbond steel casing, sourced from reputable Australian manufacturers satisfy these requirements. Human Factors - Ergonomics, Semantics & Safety: Airoheat was designed with a "plug & play" approach, it is fully assembled & gassed in the factory and featuring dual plumbing outlets its as simple to install as a traditional electric storage water heater. Being a software driven system, future upgrades in the field are made easy. Environmental Sustainability: Airoheat was designed to reduce energy consumption & when comparing the energy saved to heat each litre of water, Airoheat is 23% more efficient than its closest competitor. Considering that 30% of the energy used in an average home is to heat water Airoheat can contribute to a 65% reduction in this energy use. All levels of Government recognise the need for a sustainable approach to water heating, supported by sustainable housing codes and new product standards in energy efficiency. Rebates include the Federal Government REC’s program which is calculated on energy saving measures & the recent solar rebates linked to RECS & offered by both Federal & State Government to replace traditional electric storage heaters. Airoheat satisfies all environmental & safety standards and qualifies for all of the new government rebates provided to encourage sustainable water heating solutions. Presentation / Packaging: Packaging of water heaters is less about aesthetics and more about functionality, ensuring the unit can be transported without damage.
