Product Description and Principal Function(s)

oThe St George ‘EcoSafe’ Double oven is an Australian manufactured kitchen oven for residential use.
oThe oven features a massive 92 litre upper oven and a 62 litre capacity lower oven - much larger than any other double oven.
oBoth top and bottom ovens are fully multifunctional allowing greater flexibility of use at a given time. Nine cooking functions per oven offers a range of choices to suit a large variety of recipes and cooking styles.

oThe design is distinctively fresh in its architectonic simplicity. With mirrored glass door, stylish stainless steel surrounds, distinctive handle, and sleek functional knobs, the oven integrates perfectly with the latest kitchen design trends at the upper end of the market.
Also available in many decorator colours.

Functionality
oThe oven provides even and consistent cooking throughout each oven cavity. The unique air distribution system at the rear of the cavity ensures heat is distributed evenly to every shelf.
oThe oven consists of 2 fully multifunctional ovens- each with 9 cooking functions.

The materials used to make the oven are all of the highest quality.
oThe use of heavy gauge materials ensures the product will last for many years.
o4 layers of glass in the door. Inner 2 layers provide a thermal barrier and minimise heat loss while the outer 2 layers create a safe cool to touch surface.
oThe inner door glass layer is ‘stopsol’ coated reflective glass which helps to retain heat.
oBio Soluble Insulfrax Blanket Insulation used around the oven is better for the environment as it is biodegradable. This material also has less heat loss, therefore keeping heat in the oven and distributing more evenly.
oThe St George ‘EcoSafe’ Double oven is manufactured in Australia, ensuring control over manufacturing quality, attention to detail & compliance standards.

Human Factors: Ergonomics, Semantics and Safety
o4 layers of glass in the door creates a safe cool to touch surface at any temperature.
oThe control panel uses English text promoting ease of use. The blade shaped control knobs provide easy visual identification of the cooking functions and allow for easy & ergonomic use by the aged and arthritic.
oLaser etching on the control panel ensures the cooking functions and temperature settings are permanent and non-removable.
oThe optional side-opening door means there is no need to bend over the door to access the oven cavity - it is easily accessible.
oTelescopic racks inside the oven provide an easy access to hot food - the rack brings the food to the user. So with a side opening door and telescopic racks there is no need to get close to the heat from the oven or bend over any hot surfaces - the access is easy.

Environmental Sustainability
oThe oven has been produced with the primary focus on saving energy and safety. The 4 layer glass door ensures minimal heat loss and therefore less energy is used.
oHigh quality materials used in production ensure the product is long lasting.
oAt the end of the product lifetime, St George will accept your old appliance back for recycling.
oThe insulation used (Bio Soluble Insulfrax Blanket Insulation) is biodegradable therefore making it better for the environment.

Presentation/Packaging
oAt point of sale the product is presented in kitchen displays. The door glass has a mirrored finish with a bottom stainless steel border. The easy grab handle adds the finishing touches to create the stylish aesthetic design and the availability of decorator colours ensures the oven compliments any kitchen.
