Product Manufacturer Product Description and Principal Function(s) Pelleres™ is a revolutionary new sports product that uses the latest cutting edge advances in biomechanics.Scientifically positioned on the forearms, Pelleres™ simultaneously stabilizes and strengthens an athlete’s core during exercise. Pelleres™ strengthens not only the muscular structure of the upper body but intentionally engages the core, which improves the overall efficiency of larger muscle groups like the quads, glutes and hamstrings. This in turn creates greater power for an athlete and enhances overall performance The benefits of Pelleres™ include improvements in performance, core strength, agility, speed, stamina, reaction time, posture, skill execution, and the strengthening of neural pathways. Key Product Features and Benefits WeightThrough use of biomechanical and ergonomic research the forearms were identified as the optimum area to position weights on the arms. By positioning the weight close to the elbow any stress to the joints is minimised. By positioning the weights on the underside of the forearms they suit a large variety of sports and fitness activities without being obtrusive. Comfortable Careful consideration to the placement of straps provides a comfortable fit whilst securely holding the weights in their specific position. A range of sizes and weights are available to suit most athletes and their disciplines. Safe Excluding the small plastic buckles, all components are intentionally soft so that they deform on impact preventing injury. Consideration was also given to the type of metal pellets used for weight so that they would also deform on impact. All components used meet or exceeded the requirements of the ROHS. Every effort has been made during the design of Pelleres to ensure a reduced negative effect on human health and the environment. Visual Impact/Form The ruggedised sports aesthetic and colours of the range integrate heavily into the already strong corporate identity of Pelleres™. As the sports and fitness industry is highly fashion conscious, the Pelleres™ were specifically designed to integrate with sports and fitness apparel, while still fulfilling all design standards and requirements. Functionality ‘Grand final Technologies have identified a need within the sports / fitness community for a performance training aid that efficiently and unobtrusively stabilizes and strengthens an athlete’s core during exercise. The Pelleres™ is the first product of its type and has been enthusiastically received by a large number of professional and amateur athletes. |
