The Australian designed and built Zip HydroTap 4 in 1 is the ultimate in environmentally friendly kitchen appliances by providing filter boiling and chilled water as well as hot and cold water from a single source at the point of use. This eliminates the need, space and expense of a separate hot water system. Water wastage is prevented by all water being immediately available at its desired temperature (i.e. no need to run the water to reach temperature.)

Boiling/chilled and hot/cold water are dispensed from two stylish matched taps achieving the maximum class-leading 6 Star WELS rating.

The Zip HydroTap 4 in 1 provides an innovative, quantum leap forward in environmental responsibility. All the energy efficient, state of the art, smart technology of the HydroTap is coupled with the new ability to provide hot and cold water through a mixer tap all from the same source.

The Zip HydroTap 4 in 1 eliminates the need for a hot water service by mixing boiling water from the HydroTap with the cold incoming mains water, in a metered manner to achieve instant hot water at point of use. Mixed hot water temperatures of 50ºC and more are achieved to ensure effective dish washing. Bernouli's principles with respect to water flow as applied to a venturi are used to provide an efficiency controlled water mixing without the need for complicated valves and controls. This concept together with double backflow prevention provides added safety and reliability.

The numerous features and benefits of the Zip HydroTap 4 in 1 include but not limited to:
1. Eliminates the need of a seperate hot water services or expensive reticulations systems (especially advantageous in commercial applications).
2. More energy efficient as heat loss from the separate hot water system is eliminated as well as the heat loss through long lengths of pipe.
3. Saves water as being located at point of use, desired hot water temperature is immediately available. This negates the need to run your tap before the desired temperature is achieved.
4. Saves floor or cupboard space but not having a separate hot water service.
5. Simple installation with a single power and water connection to an all in one appliance provide boiling, chilled, hot and cold water.
6. Mixer tap achieves water saving, maximum 6 Star WELS rating.
7. The boiling tank is controlled by unique Power-Pulse™ technology which automatically adjusts heating power to suit demand, thereby reducing power consumption dramatically.
8. Two further energy saving features include automatic sleep mode actuation after preset periods of inactivity and a 24 hr, 7 day timer control. The sleep mode allows the boiling water tank temperature to be lowered, when not required for additional energy savings, while the timer allows programmed on and off times through a 7 day week minimising energy consumption.
9. Efficient high grade insulation minimising heat loss from the boiling tank and insulates the chilled water tank.
10. Energy efficiency chilled water circuit.
11. Dual independent safety features to prevent accidental dispensing of boiling water. This is especially pertinent to children and aged care facilities.
12. Tap stays cool to the touch preventing accidental scalding.
13. Built in internal self-diagnostics and safety devices to ensure efficient, reliable operation and peace of mind.
14. Saves water by only dispensing that which is required. All water dispensed is at the desired temperature and therefore nothing is wasted.
15. User interface is through two stylish, durable, chrome plated metal taps.
16. Boiling and chilled water tap has two way function allowing momentary or continuous dispensing of boiling and chilled water.
17. Smart electronics monitors water use and displays when filter change is required.
