A disturbance in the ear’s balance affects hearing mechanisms and can produce a range of medical symptoms such as vertigo, tinnitus, hearing loss and pressure or fullness in the ear, which can be painful and leave an individual unable to undertake daily activity.The Enttex P100 has been developed as an easy-to-use and cost-effective device to help relieve these symptoms. A simple and elegant, alternative to current large and expensive devices, its slim hand-held design allows users to carry the device in their pocket or bag and apply treatment when needed. Key Product Features and Benefits The Enttex P100 is a first-of-kind, breakthrough device for use in alleviating the symptoms of inner-ear conditions.Inner-ear problems are often characterized by attacks of vertigo, hearing loss and tinnitus. The National Institute of Health estimates 38,000 new diagnoses of such conditions each year. Whilst no cure has been identified to date, evidence shows that positive pressure pulse therapies can be offered to most sufferers. Designed by a world-renowned Ear, Nose and Throat surgeon, the P100 is a simple and lightweight, yet clever, device delivering positive pressure pulse therapy in a convenient hand-held product. Unlike other products on the market, the P100 does not rely on electricity to operate, is discrete and is fully portable. Existing devices are large, electrically powered and expensive to purchase. They are not suitable for users on the move. The P100 has been designed with operator ergonomics top-of-mind to encourage users to lead a more normal life. Portability, ease-of-use, safety and low cost were key factors in the genesis of the product. Smaller than a mobile phone, the P100’s slim design allows the user to carry it in a pocket or bag and apply treatment whenever the need arises. Its wrap around pressure tube and earpiece storage, with a smooth protective cover provides a safe and attractive alternative to current bulky therapy units. Additionally, the device has been designed to ensure only the correct amount of pressure is delivered to the inner ear, preventing negative pressure excursions and overpressure conditions.Usage is simple. Remove the protective cover, unwrap the tubing and place the ear tip into your ear canal with one hand while holding the device in the other. Press the centre diaphragm with your thumb to apply air pressure pulses. When treatment is complete, neatly wrap the tubing around the device and replace the protective cover. The ear tips are detachable and can be cleaned with a mild detergent. Alternatively ear tips can easily be replaced. |
