Product Manufacturer Product Description and Principal Function(s) The pants are made with XITANIT, reflecting the thermal radiation of the sun and surroundings. That’s heat, the body doesn’t have to cool down. The 3D intercooler on the thigh is undulated over the muscle, absorbing excess sweat and distributing it over a large area. The evaporation cools the body. The 3D-BionicSphere-System on the back supports effective cooling through their sophisticated surface construction. Revolutionary is the patent-pending seat padding. During knitting, an opening is left for the padding, where it is inserted afterwards. The fit and the elasticity of the upholstery are retained completely. The sun protection factor is 50+.Key Product Features and Benefits Bionic means to learn from nature. Our passion: X-BIONIC means to improve it. The heat ray reflecting skin of the desert fox Fennec is the archetype of our fennec technology. Therefore we developed the revolutionary yarn XITANIT. Our designer chose a metallic design of the XITANIT yarn fort he Fennec Bib Tight to underline this heat reflecting function of the pants. This gives them a futuristic and technical style, too. Beside this it was a great challenge for the designer to point out the different function zones of this innovative bike pants like compression, clima and sweat management, seamless construction and sophisticated seat padding. The result is a unique look that shows on the first view that these bike pants are a real high tech product. The designer had to find solutions that are able to be realized on seamless knitting machines. He had to create patented 3D constructions that are working perfect for climate and sweat management. At the beginning of the process the scientists, the research and development team and high level athletes defined the demands for the perfect bike pants. Then the designer had to develop solutions to fullfill this specifications. You can see the solutions: The patented 3D-BionicSpher-System on the back. The Intercooler on the back and front of the tighs. The clean integration of the seat padding. The wide comfortable cuff at the leg. Each of these functional elements can be recognized, but each element is a part of the whole pant.The pant is very different to all other bike pants. You can see this with this unique design. The pants are different: they are innovative, work more effectively and they are knitted not woven. The look is as different as the construction. We did not try to improve the common standards, we defined the bike pants new and set new standards – in technique and design. |
