Product Manufacturer Product Description and Principal Function(s) When you slip on the Speed Metal running socks, you immediately feel a cooling effect. The reason is the XITANIT yarn. Extremely conductive, XITANIT draws off the foot warmth – like a silver spoon in a cup of tea. The XITANIT also acts as a heat shield, reflecting the sun’s heat. The bacteriostatic SkinNodor material gives off silver ions that prevent bacterial growth. The sock pumps moisture away rapidly. With every step, warm, humid air is mechanically pumped away from the foot through the knitted ducts of the patented Air Conditioning Channel up the sock and out of the shoe.Key Product Features and Benefits X-Socks – a climate regulating sock. Supports the natural barefoot climate, keeps the foot dry and healthy. Protects the feet and anatomically sensitive areas against blisters, abrasions and pressure sores. And this principle works – think about the long distance runners from Africa, who even today cover marathon distances barefoot. In order to ensure that the feet remain free from blisters, abrasions, chafing and bruises, they must be kept dry and well ventilated. Anatomically sensitive areas must receive ample protection from friction and pressure. X-Socks satisfy all these requirements with a filed system of 12 integrated protectors and paddings working together like the toetip and toe protector, the ancle pads, the heel protector, Lambertz-Nichols Achilles’ tendon protector, instep protector, the X-Cross Bandage etc. The system regards the anatomically needs of our foot.As we know it is very important to keep our feet dry. Therefore our designer developed a patented air conditioning system, named „AirConditioning Channel“. This open knitted channel goes from the sole to the leg and pumps the moist hot air out of the shoe and suggs in fresh air from outside. The mechanical system of the AirConditioning Channel works by the pump effect of the elasticity of the arch – step by step. Our anatomically left and right footbed is perfectly tuned to this air conditioning system. Not only for the fit, but also for the function: The AirConditioning Channel is placed at the inside of the foot where we have the space for the circulation of the air in the shoe. A further very spezial feature of our Speed Metal running sock ist the use of the revolutionary material Xitanit. It draws off the heat from the foot. Beside this Xitanit is able to distribute the sweat very fast on a big surface so that the moist can be sugged away very effectively by the Mythlan material of the sock. Another advantage of Xitanit is its ability to reflect the heat ray of the sun and the surrounding. That means Xitanit keeps the foot cool and dry. The metallic effect of the sock gives this product a very unique, futuristic look and underlines the very technical demand of this high tech sock. |
